E-learning Platform for Psychoeducation
Project Status: In the preparatory phase. Seeking partners to implement the project.
Project Description: The aim of the project is to adapt and popularize the SEE Learning (Social, Emotional, Ethical Learning) program in Poland, developed by Emory University (https://compassion.emory.edu/see-learning). This program offers teaching materials and practical exercises, incorporating knowledge of emotional hygiene, recognizing and coping with emotions, and secular ethics into early childhood and school education. The most important points of the project are translating the content available on the original SEE‑learning servers into Polish, then maintaining the network infrastructure providing access to materials and exercises in Polish. The next step is to train SEE educators and finally to include these materials in education in primary and secondary schools, with free access for students and teachers.
Scope of Work:
- Translation: Translation of materials from English into Polish, adapting them to the Polish education system and cultural specificity.
- Adaptation: Adaptation of online practical exercises and teaching tools available in SEE to the conditions of the Polish school.
- E-learning platform: Creation and maintenance of a Polish version of the e‑learning platform, providing easy access to materials and tools for teachers and students.
- Training: Organization of training for teachers, which will enable them to effectively use SEE materials in their work.
- Cooperation with schools: Promoting the program among schools and supporting them in implementing the SEE Learn‑ing program.
Partners Sought:
- Educators: Specialists in pedagogy, psychology, and didactics, who will participate in the creation and adaptation of materials.
- Translator and proofreader: A person fluent in English and Polish, dealing with the translation and proofreading of specialized texts.
- IT administrators: Specialists in creating and maintaining e‑learning platforms.
